TishTashToys is a family business based in North Yorkshire selling beautiful toys and gifts for babies and children. Click here to order your free copy We have hand-picked a wonderful selection of children's toys from a variety of UK suppliers including The Toy Workshop, Orange Tree Toys, John Crane, Manhattan Toy and Orchard Toys. We particularly like traditional wooden toys and find that these are very popular at the moment. Our favourite brands are Pintoy, Hess and Selecta. TishTashToys offers a large selection from the Pintoy range. We like the beautiful rubberwood and the colourful designs and the fact that they are educational and durable. We find that toddlers really like the classic wooden Pintoy fire engine, the Pintoy spaceship, the dolls houses and the musical toys. We are also pleased to offer the delightful Toy Workshop doll's houses, pirate ships and Noah's Ark. The wooden name letters from The Toy Workshop are incredibly popular too and good value at only £1.25 each. Our current best selling toys include our ever growing range of bath toys, and the ballerina dolls and fairy dolls. The cute little milk tooth holders literally fly out of the door. Many of our cheaper items are ideal as party bag toys. We find the most popular party bag toys are the fun stretchy animals, the lovely elasticated wooden watches and the gorgeous fancy garden notebooks. We now offer party bag toys in packs of ten, twenty of thirty. We only choose toys that we ensure are safe and have been tested within approved guidelines. Our own children and their friends play with most of our toys so we get to see which of them the children actually prefer. They love the traditional wooden toys and games and are currently into the castles, rocking horses, tiddlywinks and childrens jewellery. My son loves the fun activity toys for babies and has just discovered the baby driver activity toy and the patchwork balls. He has just turned one and is cutting his large teeth on our lovely safe wooden teethers and soothers. His current favourite is the 2 rings rattle. My four year old daughter shares my love of the rag dolls and fairies and is very into role play toys at the moment so the doctor’s set and kitchen toys are extremely popular choices. She is also the very proud owner of a brand new Manhattan Toy dragonfly torch which matches the colour in her newly decorated bedroom! Manhattan Toy also produce unique toys and original gifts like the winkel, the whoozit and the skwish! We have also chosen some lovely soft baby books from their range. We particularly like the Buzzing Bee book, Doggie Playday and fun with Frog as they are all fairly interactive and good fun first books. Don't miss the fantastic colourful new puppets too. Choose finger puppets in nursery rhyme themes like three little pigs or red riding hood or the classic tales of Cinderella or Goldilocks! Or there are larger Chopper Chums hand puppets or puppet pairs where one puppet fits an adult hand and the other is child size.
