I don’t live in Devon either but think you should go for it. I think it’s important to do things that we believe in. Also you might give others the courage to join in too – how many constituencies are there in total?

Thank you Nikki, for your encouraging inspirational words. I’m seriously thinking about it, I love a challenge and I’d love to start making a difference, get off the sofa and do something my kids might appreciate when they are my age. Thank you.

Hi Sharon, as a Brighton-based Green, I hope I can encourage you to go for it. Yes, it might be hard, un-rewarding & ultimately even unsuccessful -BUT- you’re absolutely right to do it. Standing as a candidate, raising awareness for the Green Party and giving people something positive to give their vote to rather than the grim choice between Labour & Tory would be a great thing to do. I can’t vote for you – but thousands will want to… Best of luck.
